Trans IT Suite The TransIT software suite is a corridor-driven, imagery-focused geospatial data extraction toolset for the transportation professional. The software provides highly accurate 2D or 3D feature extraction capability using controlled stereo imagery on a standard personal computer platform. A high-end graphics card and monitor and specialized stereo glasses are required to work in 3D. TransIT is interoperable with ESRI GIS products and many CADD programs such as Bentley MicroStation and Geopak. |

SurveyIT is a feature/function rich module for aerial topographic surveying using
high resolution, tightly controlled aerial photography. SurveyIT functions as
a desktop survey tool emulating the Electronic Field Book (EFB) nomenclature and
CAiCE file output format (.srv). Functions include area and distance calculators,
as well as the ability to import and export shape files and select projection,
datum and coordinate systems. |
The InventoryIT module is similarly a feature/function rich roadway inventory tool
for collecting FHWA General Interest Roadway Data (GIRD) and Highway Performance
Monitoring System (HPMS) data. The tool allows extraction of the roadway centerline
while storing latitude, longitude and elevation points in an Access database
and dynamically generating milepoints associated with each x, y, z coordinate. |
The TransViewIT module is a rapid display data query and reporting tool for viewing
roadway inventory data collected with the InventoryIT module. Exceptionally
high accuracy distance and area measurement tools and many other typical GIS functions
and features are incorporated. |
